I totally paused!

If you empty the office coffee pot, you should have the courtesy to make more coffee.

I go into the break room this morning to get coffee and make my oatmeal, and I notice someone getting coffee from two of the pots.  My work has about five coffee pots with different flavors/strengths of coffee in them, fyi.  They are the metal pots, to help keep the coffee hot, so you can’t see how much is in there.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions at this point, so I think perhaps he likes to mix flavors.  I go to the coffee pot next, and sadly discover that it is empty…

This means that at least two people tried to get coffee from this pot (the person who used the end of it and the person I witnessed switching pots), and instead of taking the extra thirty seconds to start it brewing, they walked away.

For the record, I did not continue this despicable trend!

If you’re on American Idol, you don’t get to sing a song that makes you cry.

I just saw a clip of Crystal Bauersox on AI while watching The Soup.  If you recall, I am boycotting Fox so I don’t watch American Idol, so anything I see or hear about the show I get from other sources.

Anyway, I see Crystal crying during the end of her song this week, and I feel for you kitty cat.  I have a whole list of songs that make me cry.

The big difference is…I know better than to go singing these songs in public.  This is not the best idea, fyi.

I’m starting a new feature in which I will be making observations and listing things that I think should maybe change.  Everyone should play along!

So for today…

If you’re wearing all black, except for your sneakers, you should not be walking around in the street after dark.  Do you have a death wish?  Because I don’t have a manslaughter wish, fyi.
