It’s Monday! What are you reading? January 20, 2013
This is a weekly meme run by Book Journey!
Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.
Mailbox Monday is a weekly meme that was created by Marcia at The Printed Page, who graciously hosted it for a long, long time, before turning it into a touring meme (details here). It is hosted at Lori’s Reading Corner for the month of January.
*****
Shuffled my reading around a bit this week to get ready for some blog tour reviews. I also had a sinus infection so I deliberately did a lot of nothing, so I got a ton of TV in.
Books completed last week:
Seeds of Discovery – Breeana Puttroff: I’m participating in a blog tour for this book this week, my review will be posted on Wednesday. It was a decent start to a series and I liked it.
Books I’m reading this week:
Blindspot – Jane Kamensky and Jill Lepore ~ Page 244: I’ve still been reading this, although the priority got bumped for Seeds of Discovery. This book is quite entertaining and I’m disappointed I didn’t pick it up sooner.
Suddenly A Spy – Heather Huffman: I haven’t quite started this one yet, but it’s for a blog tour as well so I’ll be reading it this week.
The Panem Companion – V. Arrow ~ Page 27: I got distracted with other reading this week, so I didn’t make any progress with this one.
Annabel – Lauren Oliver ~ 51%: This is a short story in the Delirium series, it’s about Lena’s mother and events that take place before the first book in the series, as well as some time in parallel to it.
Books ongoing:
Emma – Jane Austen ~ 24%: No Emma progress this week.
The Hunter/Farmer Diet Solution – Dr. Mark Laponis ~ 80%: I didn’t read any of this one this week either.
Books I acquired this week:
Above All Things – Tanis Rideout: I won this in November from the LibraryThing Early Reviewers program, and it arrived in the mail this week. Sounds interesting!
All This Talk Of Love – Christopher Castellani: This was my December win from LibraryThing. Looks like I’ve got some reviews to get to!
What I watched this week:
- Fashion Police, The Soup, Chelsea Lately, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, 1 girl 5 gays, The Graham Norton Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show
- Once Upon A Time
- Revenge
- Castle
- Justified
- The Big Bang Theory
- The New Normal
- Girls
- Modern Family
- Arrow
- The Vampire Diaries
- Merlin
- King of the Nerds
My Top 5 Artists This Week:
- Erin McCarley
- The Smashing Pumpkins
- The Beatles

I like that you posted what TV shows you watched!! I started Pride and Prejudice as my first book for the year and just couldn’t do it. I can see why you’re stuck with Emma.
