This was a better reading week, but busy for a variety of reasons. I had a pretty good reading month in January too!
Books completed last week:
Blindspot – Jane Kamensky and Jill Lepore: I quite enjoyed this book, it was a cute little bit of historical fiction.
The Hunter/Farmer Diet Solution – Dr. Mark Laponis: I finally picked this one back up and discovered the only thing left in it were recipes for each diet type. I was amused with myself for waiting so long to finish.
Books I’m reading this week:
Above All Things – Tanis Rideout ~ Page 180: This is a good read about the failed British Everest Expedition of 1924. It alternates between the story of what’s going on during the expedition, and a day in the life of Ruth Mallory, the wife of George Mallory.
Books ongoing:
Emma – Jane Austen ~ 24%: No Emma progress this week.
The Panem Companion – V. Arrow ~ 14%: I read a tiny bit in this one this week.
Books I acquired this week:
The Conjuring Glass – Brian Knight: I won this one through LibraryThing recently and got the eBook this week!

I have recently become a BIG BANG fan…oh my gosh. How the heck have I missed this hilarious show? Watched all the seasons over a week or so near Christmas I think. Great minds think alike

Scandal has been really good! The previews for the next episode look pretty intense too. I’m excited to see where everything is going to end up.

Great TV watching-I think I have 2 or 3 episodes of The Soup backed up on my DVR and I need to sit down and just watch them. They’re so funny and I can’t wait for more Joel McHale when Community returns this week!

I’m usually a bit behind on some shows too, so I completely understand! Sometimes I only have time to watch part of a show, so then it sits there for a few more days.
I’m very excited for Community this week! It’s been ages since we had a new one and I love that show

It was absolutely a challenging read. I can’t quite describe how I feel about it, but it was a tough one for me. I did like it, though

I think The New Normal has gotten better. I was really annoyed with the Nana character at the beginning but she’s getting less irritating over time. I like seeing more positive LGBT programming on TV! Castle is always wonderful
