Castle 2:2

October 07, 2009 By: dorolerium Category: TV

I love when instead of taking notes while I watch a show, I am so involved I choose to watch it twice to make sure I don’t miss anything.  There are only a few shows in my schedule that I do this with, and Castle is one of them.

There are two murders in this show – a lady is found dead in her office, she was a couples therapist; and an older gentleman is presumably mugged and killed in Central Park.

Naturally, the husband is suspected of his wife’s murder, but has an air tight alibi and is off the hook.  The same goes for the best suspect in the other murder.  In the meantime, Castle makes a bet with the other detectives that he and Beckett will solve their murder first.  When he strikes the bet, he says my newest favorite thing

Secrets, murder, and gambling – three of my favorite past times

Ah, I love Richard Castle.  He also suddenly becomes a grammar nazi in this episode, which is pretty funny as it enfolds throughout the show.

Later on, when they up the stakes in the bet, Castle says “You’re on, honey milk!”  Which won’t make full sense until you see the show, but I think it’s hilarious.

I don’t really feel like I can say anything else about this episode without ruining it for y’all, but I will say that I was once again surprised, and I think these things only work on TV.  But in any case, it was a good episode and I’m glad I watched it twice.
